I actually found one of these in the pocket of an Ike jacket several years ago

All straps are in very good condition

You can still clearly see both decals under the blue paint

it went into production in 1944 so very few were made compared with the R

The white side has a slight rubbery feel and just shows minor wear from age

Original Equipment Straps communication I actually found one ofThese are original WWII German equipment straps (they are not big enough for the mess kit). These would have been for your blanket or over coat etc These are all from Czech surplus and still have German markings, The markings and construction varies but they mostly have Rb. numbers. All straps are in very good condition. We hand picked these to avoid post war Czech markings as other people that have these don't seem to care. Straps are roughly 54cm in
