but it does look like someone opened them up at some point because the reticle is turned a bit

Red Bakelite Bread Container Book There are snaps sewn intoPeriod German rectangular red Bakelite bread container. The Bakelite ones are hard to find. In overall good condition. Some dirt inside and general wear. I believe the markings are post war. Still a very nice piece in a great period color. There were Bakelite containers like this during the war also, but I just don't think this is one of them.
