This year was the record snowfall for the month of November on record

A few hairy wood mint plants can be seen near or underneath peachleaf willow trees on the west side of Wildflower Park during late spring and into mid summer

The first things I see while starting out on my walk are the peachleaf willow trees that greet me while a mist hovers over a cool landscape with a beautiful and colorful spring sunrise off in the distance at Wildflower Park

I was looking for some subjects to photograph along the trail with the sun illuminating those subjects when I came upon this Kentucky coffee tree being backlit with an orange glow from the morning sun

WHISPERS OF THE WINTER CREEK Size:10x15 METAL PRINT This year was the recordAfter receiving 2 3 inches of snow during the morning hours, I set out to photograph this recent snowfall along Eakin Creek West on this Sunday afternoon. The temperature was in the mid 20's with a mild wind of 5 8 mph. It was mostly overcast with some sun breaks. The soft lighting during this time made for some nice images of the box elder trees and their reflections onto Eakin Creek West. (685 3442)
