The forecast this June morning was to be mostly clear with some clouds

I enjoyed viewing and photographing them as they rested at Wildflower Lake before flying north on their migration

I left the house wanting to photograph a colorful sunrise

like these crab apple trees along with the landscape in black and white which adds a little more mystery and mood to the images

The weather conditions were perfect to do a long exposure with no wind that would cause motion blur of the trees

A GOLDEN MIST FROM THE PRAIRIE Size:8X12 METAL PRINT The forecast this June morningAfter photographing the sunrise and wildflower scenes moments earlier, I focused my attention on the low lying mist that was covering this prairie landscape scene. With the sun now above the box elder trees that line the banks of Eakin Creek West, the suns golden rays gave the mist and this scene a golden hue at Wildflower Park. This was a beautiful and remarkable landscape scene to have witnessed and photographed. (506 95)
