The Attack "The Attack Is Back" Digital Download The band embodies a styleThe Attack was formed in 1979 by three guys from Astoria, Queens: Jason Deranged (vocals), Alex Morris (guitar) and Steve Pain (drums). Jason had put an ad in the Village Voice looking to form a band, and through the many responses he received, he got together with Alex and Steve and later, bassist Zal, who was an accomplished jazz player from Manhattan. The Attack began playing out around town with frequent shows at Maxs Kansas City, CBGB and 171A,
